I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning to take part in the 'Skins' series 5 & 6 open auditions in London. They took place at William Ellis Schools in Highgate, and although the weather was pretty chilly and I was pretty nervous, I met on my travels in the queue some very lovely people, keeping my spirits high through the long 1 1/4 hour wait. The audition its self was nothing special, just a little improvisation work within random groups. With no formal acting experience, I don't particularly think I did very well, although I had an enjoyable time anyway... I'm not exactly expecting a call back! When I finished up, I took a trip round the town, having a browse down some of the vintage shops in Brick Lane and the like. On my way there, I spotted the handsome singer-songwriter Jack Peñate walking into the Whitechapel Art Gallery! That made my day!! I actually came across a bit of trouble with the trains today, so this song is very appropriate...
